Owners Meeting- June 24th 2023
To all Owners of Quail Run Condominiums-
The HOA will be holding its annual owners meeting on June 24th 2023 in the club house next to the pool at 10AM.
This meeting is held yearly as required by our bylaws and will end promptly at 12PM. Order and Decorum will be maintained at all times. Anyone failing to maintain decorum will be asked to leave immediately, if order is not maintained then the meeting will be cancelled.
A quorum of owners in attendance or by proxy is required for the meeting to become official and for us to conduct official business. In years past, achieving this quorum has been a rarity. Please either attend or fill out the included Proxy form and return it via mail or email as soon as possible. You may also fill out a proxy online if you prefer on our website at lakehickorycondos.com
Prior to the start of the meeting we will establish a record of attendance. Whether or not quorum is reached will greatly affect the meetings content and outcome. Pending quorum, the tentative agenda is as follows:
- Introductions & Tallying Attendance
- Overview of the past year
- Finances
- Issues facing Quail Run
- Open discussion
- Elections
At the end of each topic, owners will be given an opportunity to ask specific questions relating to that topic. A time limit of 2-3 minutes will be maintained so as not to interfere with the rest of the meeting. Additional conversation may be had after the meeting as needed.
In the open discussion session, we ask each owner to be respectful of both person and time. Please keep your questions or comments short and to the point to give everyone a chance to speak and only speak one at a time.
If quorum is reached, formal elections must be held to properly elect board members.
At this time, there are 7 acting board members and the Chairman seat is currently open. The acting board members were chosen by the remaining previously elected board members on a as needed basis to keep the community going until elections can be held.
